Theming your instance
Product name, logo, colors, and support links, plus what standard and white-label agencies each get.
Your branded instance is what your clients actually see. Theming is where you set it up, under Partner Hub > Settings > Theming.
What you can set#
Product name. What your instance is called. This is available to white-label agencies only, for reasons covered below.
Logo. Upload an image, up to 5 MB.
Accent color and sidebar color. Both are 6-digit hex values. The page offers curated presets and a live preview, so you can see the result before committing.
Support email and terms/privacy links. The support email is the address your clients (and your own staff) use to reach you, so keep it pointed at a mailbox someone actually watches.
Colors and readable text#
You only pick the accent and sidebar colors. Modero automatically derives the readable text and contrast colors around whatever you choose, so you never end up with illegible text on top of your own brand color.
That means you can pick a very dark or very light brand color without separately hunting for a text color that survives it. The derived colors adjust to your pick.
Standard vs. white-label#
How deep your customization goes depends on your agency’s tier.
| Standard | White-label / Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Logo | Yes | Yes |
| Accent color | Yes | Yes |
| Support email | Yes | Yes |
| Terms/privacy links | Yes | Yes |
| Custom product name | No | Yes |
| Host | The common Modero app host, shared with every other standard agency’s clients | A fully custom domain and host |
Standard agencies share the common Modero app host, which is the same URL every standard agency’s clients use. The branding on top of it is still yours.
White-label and Enterprise agencies get a fully custom domain and a complete rebrand, including your own product name. Your clients never see “Modero” anywhere.
Common questions#
We’re a standard agency. Can we get a custom domain later? Yes. Moving to white-label or Enterprise unlocks a custom domain and a full rebrand, including your own product name. Talk to your Modero contact about upgrading.
Where do our clients go for help with the product itself? Point them at the Vigilis Help Center, which documents the day-to-day client experience. Your own support email, set here in Theming, is for questions that belong to your agency.
