Deals and quotes
Move deals through your pipeline as a kanban board or table, and attach structured quotes.
Deals#
Deals is your sales pipeline. It offers two views of the same records:
- A kanban board, where you drag a deal between stages.
- A table view, for when you would rather scan or sort a long list.
Moving a deal into a stage marked as won triggers automatic conversion into a client organization, a Project, and seeded Services. That behavior is worth understanding before you drag anything into a won column: see What happens when you win a deal.
Quotes#
Quotes are structured quotes attached to deals. A quote is a header plus line items, rather than a free-form document, which is what allows an approved quote’s line items to be turned into inventory when the deal is won.
Tasks and follow-ups#
Tasks holds your personal task list alongside tasks linked to a specific deal or contact.
Follow-ups is a going-cold queue. It flags deals and contacts you have not touched recently, so that the things quietly drifting out of your pipeline surface on their own instead of relying on you to remember them.
Analytics#
Analytics covers:
- The pipeline funnel.
- A weighted forecast.
- Win rate.
- Segment views, such as deals closing soon and stale deals.
Pipelines and stage requirements#
Pipelines lives under the System group in the CRM nav, and it is where you manage your pipeline stages and stage requirements.
