Enabling Flux and the metered add-ons
Turn Flux on for a client, then optionally add Telemetry and Bandwidth-on-Demand.
Turning Flux on#
Flux is one of the paid add-ons on a client’s Billing and Entitlements screen, alongside Projects and Expenses. Reach it from the Partner Hub by opening Organizations, clicking into the client, and going to their Billing or Entitlements page. See Add-ons and entitlements.
Turning Flux on unlocks the client’s Network module and makes their services eligible for your Commissions tracking. For what the client sees once it is on, see Network and Flux overview.
Clients you bring on through the Invite Client flow are provisioned with Flux already enabled and marked complimentary. See Inviting clients.
The two metered add-ons#
Once Flux is on, two additional usage-metered network add-ons become available for that client:
| Add-on | What it covers | How it is billed |
|---|---|---|
| Telemetry | Monitored circuits | A per-circuit rate |
| Bandwidth-on-Demand | Auto-Flux managed circuits | A per-circuit rate plus a flat monthly platform fee |
Each is toggled on individually, per client. Enabling Flux does not enable either of them.
Common questions#
Does enabling Flux automatically enable Telemetry and Bandwidth-on-Demand too? No. Flux unlocks the Network module itself. Telemetry and Bandwidth-on-Demand are separate metered add-ons you turn on individually per client, each with its own per-circuit rate.
A client is missing a network feature. Is it the module or an add-on? Check the client’s Billing and Entitlements screen. If Flux is off, that is the module toggle. If Flux is on, check whether Telemetry or Bandwidth-on-Demand is the piece they are missing, since those are separate toggles.
