Our sending domain will not verify
Check the DNS records, allow for propagation, and know that outbound mail keeps working meanwhile.
Your sending domain has been sitting at pending, or the Verify button keeps failing. Before you start troubleshooting, know that this is not an outage.
So invites, alerts, and digests are still going out. What is waiting is only the cosmetic part:
sending from noreply@youragency.com instead of the shared default.
What to check#
- Compare the DNS records character by character. Open Partner Hub > Settings > Email and check that each record shown there is entered at your DNS provider exactly as displayed. Small discrepancies are the usual cause: a truncated value, a trailing character, or a host field your DNS provider expanded or shortened on its own.
- Click Verify again. The page has a Verify button that re-checks status on demand.
- Give it time. DNS changes can take time to propagate. A correct record entered a few minutes ago may simply not be visible yet, so re-check later before concluding anything is wrong.
If it stays stuck#
If the records match what the page shows, propagation has clearly had time, and Verify still fails, Modero’s guidance does not go further than the steps above. Rather than changing DNS records speculatively, contact Modero: see How to get help.
