A client is missing a feature
Work out whether it is a module toggle, a network add-on, or a limit the client has hit.
A client says a part of the product is not there for them. Almost always this is one of three things, and all three live on the same screen: that client’s Billing & Entitlements screen, reachable from Organizations, then the client, then Billing.
Work down the list in order. Each step rules out a category.
1. Is it a module toggle?#
Each client can have any combination of these paid add-ons toggled on:
- Projects
- Expenses
- Flux, which unlocks the client’s Network features and makes them eligible for your Commissions tracking
If the missing thing is one of these, it is a module toggle. Turn it on from the Billing & Entitlements screen.
2. Is it a network add-on?#
Two additional usage-metered network add-ons sit underneath Flux:
- Telemetry, for monitored circuits
- Bandwidth-on-Demand, for Auto-Flux managed circuits
Both are usage-metered per circuit. See Add-ons and entitlements for how each one is rated.
3. Is the client hitting a limit?#
If neither of the above explains it, the client may not be missing a feature at all. They may be hitting a cap. Every client has two configurable limits, both visible and adjustable on the same screen:
| Limit | What it caps |
|---|---|
| Maximum user count | How many users the client organization can have |
| Monthly invoice-parsing quota | How many invoices are parsed for them per month |
Both can be raised, lowered, or set to unlimited per client. A client at their user cap will report that they cannot add people, which reads as a missing feature but is not. See A client cannot accept their invite for that case specifically.
If none of the three apply#
If the module is on, the add-on is on, and no limit has been reached, Modero’s documented causes for this symptom are exhausted. Do not guess at a fourth. See How to get help, naming the client and the specific feature.
