Authentication and SSO

Single sign-on for your team's Partner Hub login, and your account recovery contacts.

Partner Hub > Settings > Authentication covers two things: how your staff sign in, and how you get back in if you are ever locked out.

Single sign-on#

You can configure SSO for your team’s Partner Hub login, using either SAML or OIDC.

This applies to your agency’s own staff signing in to the Partner Hub. It is a setting at your agency level.

Recovery contacts#

A recovery contact is the person Modero can reach if your agency ever gets locked out of its account.

Modero prompts your recovery contact quarterly to confirm they are still reachable. That prompt is intentional, and it is worth understanding why it exists rather than dismissing it as noise: a recovery contact is only useful if the address still works at the moment you need it, which by definition is a moment when you cannot log in to go fix it. The quarterly check is what keeps the safety net from quietly rotting.

Relatedly, a lone-admin agency gets a periodic reminder to add a second partner admin, for the same reason: a single point of failure is risky for account recovery. See Team and roles.
