Stripe Connect is not enabled yet

What still works before Stripe onboarding is complete, and what does not.

You are trying to put a client on a catalog plan and Modero tells you Stripe Connect is not enabled. This is expected until your Stripe onboarding is fully complete, and it blocks less than you might think.

Finish Stripe’s hosted onboarding#

Go to Partner Hub > Settings > Billing > Connect Stripe account and complete Stripe’s hosted onboarding flow.

If Stripe is still asking you for information, that is where the blocker is. Finish it in Stripe, then return to Modero.

What is blocked, and what is not#

CapabilityWorks without Stripe Connect?
Org-paid catalog plans (client pays you directly via Stripe)No
Partner-paid service tiers (the cost rolls into your Modero bill)Yes
Invite Client (provisioning a new client organization)Yes

Partner-paid tiers and the Invite Client flow keep working because neither one touches your Stripe account. A client invited through Invite Client is provisioned immediately, marked complimentary, with Flux enabled, and Stripe never sees them. You can adjust their modules and billing later.

So if you are blocked on Stripe verification, you are not blocked on onboarding clients. Bring them on, and assign catalog plans once the connection completes.

Once it is connected#

Once your Stripe account is connected, you keep 100% of what your clients pay. Modero takes no cut and applies no fee on top.
